This conference is organized by the Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine in collaboration with the National Research and Development Centre for Welfare and Health, Finland, the Norwegian Federation of Organisations of Disabled People (FFO ) and the Norwegian Cancer Society. This conference is about people using eHealth for their own health purposes. The conference will provide a meeting place for exchanging knowledge and debating strategies between the key players in eHealth. We hope this event will strengthen efforts to maximize the potentials, and limit the pitfalls, inherent in eHealth developments. Citizen and patient representatives together with policy makers and experts from the field of health, social sciences and technology will participate.
