Currently the NCRI is focusing on four main areas of activity : the establishment and analysis of the Cancer Research Database in the UK; conducting a review of radiotherapy/ radiobiology research; development of a national strategy for the collection of biological samples for cancer research; addressing national infrastructure issues.
