What's new: Literature, arts and medicine database

http://litmed.med.nyu.edu/Main?action=new

Literature, arts and medicine database is a searchable annotated bibliography of prose, poetry, film, video and art developed at the New York University School of Medicine as a resource for the study and research of the medical humanities. Although not specifically historical in scope, there are some features that will be of use to medical historians; in particular the literature section which lists literary works with medical aspects and which can be browsed by historical period. There are also sections for art and film and video. Other sections of the database list entries with audio and video links and links to online texts. The entries are comprehensive and subject indexed. The database is updated regularly and new entries may be viewed through the 'what's new' section.
